We make safe and natural pet treats that are free of artificial preservatives, dyes and other potentially harmful additives. We never bleach our chews – we want our all-natural products to look and feel natural.
We control the safety, quality and sustainability of our products throughout the local production chain. Our production processes have been optimised to be as ecological as possible. We do not use coal or heavy oil, and the electricity we use comes from carbon neutral sources. We also take pride in making full use of our raw materials.

How do we control the quality of our production?
As a petfood manufacturer approved under EU Regulation (EC) No 1069/2009, which lays down health rules as regards animal by-products and derived products not intended for human consumption, our production falls under the supervision of the Finnish Food Authority. We use the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system set out in Regulation (EC) No 183/2005 laying down requirements for feed hygiene, and we also follow an extensive own-check quality assurance system approved by the Finnish Food Authority. We maintain very high hygiene standards in our production. The bacteriological purity of our products is monitored both by an independent laboratory and our own in-house laboratory. As part of our own-check quality assurance system, we test each production lot using advanced measurement and analysis methods. By doing so, we can ensure that all our products are perfectly safe and of the highest quality.
Our state-of-the-art production facilities are purpose-built. To ensure the highest quality, we use automation in monitoring our production processes. Our products are dried in high heat to ensure their microbiological purity. The computer-controlled process produces a detailed report that we check for each production lot. We inspect each dog chew individually before we pack it. Before we deliver the packaged products, we also put them through a metal detector.
